Create Your Own Fundraiser

 What is a Fundraiser?

A fundraiser is an event held to raise money in support of a cause or project. OATH’s unique approach to fundraising allows its donors, volunteers, and anyone interested in supporting a development initiative to choose their own project, cause, and country of interest. Or, to simply select one of OATH’s existing projects.

Once a project or cause is decided, it is submitted to OATH for project approval as all proposals are to meet established criteria. Once the project is approved and the fundraiser planned, it is time to spread the word by engaging communities, professional, and social networks.

Who Can Create a Fundraiser?

Anyone! Those with existing networks, such as students who belong to a group and professionals to an association, can tap into their social resources to generate support for their cause or project. Those without existing networks can create support through friends, family, advertising and word of mouth.

Of course, OATH is here to help. For every fundraising activity, OATH staff are happy to guide the process, from helping advertise to suggesting logistics, such as venue and timing.

How?

When approaching OATH, some individuals and groups already have an idea of what type of a fundraising event they would like to hold; others may not. Whatever the case, OATH is here to help and guide.
